About Matthew & The Echoes

Matthew and the echoes are an Acoustic Band based in Leicester. The band featuring only two members, Matthew Richmond and Matthew Stapleford, who create original Acoustic Music inspired by a mixture of Acoustic singer song writers from Jack Johnson and Bob Marley to Damien Rice and the Beatles. The two Musicians sing lead vocals which provides an original sound as the two voices are very different in characteristics. Originally the two musicians were solo artists until a chance conversation in 2007 began the idea of an Acoustic collaboration later titled matthew and the echoes.

New CD - Slow it all down

We have just finished the recording of our 2nd CD titled 'Slow it all down'. The costs for recording the CD has most generously be paid for by Nick and Katie Marsden. Thank you so much guys it means a lot to us and is most appreciated.

The CD was recorded at Quad studios in Leicester. A big thank you to the guys at Quad for their hard work. The CD features 5 new songs:
